Hey, has anyone gotten/installed the SR short shifter? It says that modification might be neccesary, and i am wondering the difficulty level of this installation. i have seen the install directions on the SR link to Speedstate.com's website and it doesnt LOOK bad...

I have installed the SR SR..took about 30-45 minutes to install. I like to take my time, so it might be quicker for others. I also have install the BM SS...If you do a search ( click here ) You will find all the information you will need on SR SS.

Difficult Level: Easier than a S-AFC install, Harder than opening the door with your off hand. Hope that helps ya.

 

For those of you worring about hacking up your stock shifter plate, St. Charles auto has new shifter plates available for $22 bucks.

I've also got one for sale(brand new, still in wrapper). It's a *spare* that I never needed.
