Default looking for techniques to bleed worn slave cylinder

replaced new clutch and theres alot of chatter when putting into reverse and starting it up so i suspect slave cylinder is worn sio it dosent contact and pull open strongly enough with flyhweel and pressure plate, possibly not bled properly, relived of air pressure, but the car is really old and worn looking when compared to a new model tiburons same exact slave cylinder type.

for examples, the parts of the slave are really loose and when gravity bled, the cushioney thing on the slave cylinder reflexes back to a less tighter position when the brake fluid bleeder is tighten back up. ive tried several attempts at bleeding it and it still performs sub par.. me thinkey it has something to do with new clutch r=demands, and it being used to an older more worn in clutch and pressure plate. is there any good methods to get this sucker bled completely to its full potential even if its an inconvienience? i live in the Harrisburg area

They are cheap and not hard to replace, I recommend installing a new one followed by a proper bleed. It's not impossible to do alone but I always grab a helper to press the pedal.. even if it's the kid riding his bicycle past my driveway as I work on the car.. haha (true story)

Best method for one man bleeding, just did it 5 minutes ago!!!

1.Grab a Beer, Pug that b*tch!!!!

2.Grad a peice of hose that fits tightly around the nipple of the bleeder valve

3. Drain old fluid (poor this fluid out of the can)

-Now the resivior is empty and you can begin the process, also make sure tube goes to the bottom of the can!

4.Put about 1oz of brake fluid into this empty beer can

5.Now fill the RESIVIOR to the top

6.let gravy drain to can, when you see fluid start flowing to the can stlightly tighten the Bleeder valve

7.It is time to grab the end of the lever and pull into the slave cylinder.(countinue till bubbles stop)

8, tighten valve, go into the cabin, depress and release pedal multiple times!

9. Now it is time to go back to the front of the car, crack the valve, go back to the cabin depress the brake pedal to the floor a couple times

10. go back to the front and tighten valve, and .....

Drink another beer, and your done!!!!

Well you leave the tube inside the fluid that is in the can, that way you push and suck at the same time, it works like a charm!

Here maybe this will help ya!!!

umm it turns out the transmission engine mounts was causing clutch imbalance due to an unbalanced engine; i was in a hurry and cause they were bolted in improperly the motor hung to the right real bad.

so my crossmember is pulled out, im expecting a good outcome though.

a six pack a little dedication and the crossmember should be back 2gether IAW manufactuers specs none of it is for you guys though

I saved myself 600.00+ in repairs due to my clutch installation. I would be thousands in debt by now if i wasnt the ultimate mechanic.
