LHD and RHD shift gates

LHD and RHD shift gates

I been getting this question alot.

RHD and LHD use the same shift gate.

With 1st in the upper left and reverse in the bottom right.

They dont change the shift gate for RHD.

Rather most import cars are developed for LHD first, so they dont change it for RHD.

But I guess it all depend swere the firts transmisison was installed with the modern shift gate.

well, i it may be best to try and find a board or a member in another euro country and ask...the board my not be so feasible, as, ummm..., they speak another language.
