Gary blew the origonal tranny boosting 15 psi in 5th gear like over half a decade ago!.My tranny has been awesome ever since..guess I'm just lucky!?

but my NA set-up in street trim wasn't that wild... not exactly sure why it happened back then...




I noticed one thing you have over most, that LSD. Good clutch, good tires, and an LSD to further help with traction... hmm. When I go into a corner acting an ass one of my tires is going to break loose and let some of that N/a torque (LOL) go free in the form of some smoke. Your LSD equalizes things and keeps both tires planted. Something is going to see extra stress. If the clutch and the tires are not going to give up... some weak metal is.

I'm over 400whp and the Tranny is stock other than some Redline MT90. I don't drive like a jackass on the street but I do drive it hard at the strip and road course. I've owned the GK since new in 02 and have had zero issues with the tranny itself.
