Heavy duty clutch
I'm just wondering who makes a good heavy duty clutch for the 97 Elantra. I know unorthodox racing makes one and I know HVE makes 2 kinds, any others? and out of them which ones are the best? Thanks.

Try www.carolinaclutch.com
That's where I'm gonna get mine from.
E-Mail them and tell them the year/make/model of your car and they'll give you a price.
They have stage 1, 2 & 3.
Stage 1 is almost like stock and stage 3 is strictly for race.
Get the stage 2.

The whore is back.
Advanced Clutch Technologies(ACT)has 4 stages of clutches for you to choose from, and will custom fabricate if you need it. There is another company out there, I cant remember the name, but it makes a 3-plate CF clutch with a lightened steel flywheel, the total surface area is very impressive, and the pressure plate spring rating had been set to make the use of this product more friendly towards the street. If I remember correctly, they will build a clutch to your application, so cost remains the only option. The moment of inertia of this company's product is very impressive also, versus the surface area, so it might be worth looking into.
