I installed google analytics on the site. We'll see what kind of traffic we are getting. fing02.gif

just checked those stats. ~300 unique visitors a day and ~500 visits a day. I'll report back on how that does in a month or so.

it does seem to be running slightly slow, but not nearly as bad as when we had this problem before. It's alright.

Once again...the arcade has absolutely no relationship with the forum speed. I'll update the cache's on the site. That'll help.

Redz (or any other Admin)...could you guys go into the SQL Toolbox in the ACP and optimize all SQL tables? That will also speed things up too. I cant do it since I dont have that access. smile.gif

I ran the optimization. I haven't really noticed a slowdown prior to running it though.

i haven't really noticed a slowdown.

i think people because accustomed to FAST FAST FAST and anything not immediate is considered 'slow'

When you say it's 'slow' it's really subjective... can you give us numbers? "It took 15 seconds for the site to even begin loading"

Some of it can also be due to your browser settings. Having "Automatically Detect Settings" turned on may cause it to slow down upon first opening the browser. It does for me @ work, takes at least 15 seconds before ANY website will load.
