There didn't ever seem to be a problem fore the army+arcade was added.

I don't know what your current server specs are, and what you're paying for it (not making it public is totally understandable!) - but you may want to check out A Small Orange and Dream Host.

I use ASO and have been pretty happy with them. Their prices are great, and since (due to the size of this site) you would probably be going for a dedicated server rather than a shared account, you will notice sweet speed and uptime.

 

Well, we are hosted for free thru Breck's old service.

The Army/Arcade combo (I still say it was just the Army System) may be the cause of the latest, but we've had plenty of issues.

 

i'm still having problems here... most of the time, im in the middle of replying to a thread or pm and hit the ADD REPLY or the SEND MESSAGE button and suddenly the site is gone

then i try to rdtiburon.com again and no response for about 3 hrs... it happened to me 4 times in the past 2 days

so, i'm not sure if it is army related really

unfortunately, the problems seem to be solved. I access the site at work(wireless), school(wireless & LAN), and home (comcast home wireless)... and have no problems anywhere.

I hate to see it go, but it seems as if we must do without Army System. I'm surprised to see we only had 43,000 hits in July though. Oh well, still a pretty good number for such a specific car website. fing02.gif Java, your site owns

I have similar problem. I can read forums then it go down.
I tried to ping the site in command and it's ok - no loss.
I also tried to trace it - again everything work, but I cant open the site - it says time out.

 

So are the army mod and arcade mods gone for good?

In otherwords - should I remove their links or no? dunno.gif

I want to put the Arcade back up to see if we still have issues with just that.

 

i havea problem similar to Dmitry,
forums works quite fine then i try to look at another tread and the forum is dead..

 

What about hosting RD Army off site? Maybe that would work, if people are still interested in playing.
