Calendar Design Is Done Whos Printing This?
Nice job man!!! I'll take two calendars to get the ball rolling. Get us a thread up with a paypal addy so folks can start sending in money ASAP.
Oh, and for the folks who keep complaining, ease up!! The fact that people have donated their time and energy to even get us a calendar, ESPECIALLY this year, shows an awesome amount of commitment and generosity. I am grateful. Regardless of the quality, I will be hanging this on my wall and it will get archived with all the other calendars I've bought over the years. Remember, this is suppose to be memorabilia of the friendships and memories of this club, not intended for a showpiece at your next car show.

How much does it cost to ship all calendars to one location? It can be a business location if that matters. I'd suggest purchasing 75 to ensure everyone who wants one, gets one. We sold over 60 last year. I doubt we'd beat that, but I don't want to deny calendars to people.
Don't forget, those numbers are before adding in shipping to me, shipping from me to customer, and covering paypal. Might be an extra $5-6 added to those costs.
Thank you Optimo for taking the initiative, and for the work on the calendar designs.

As I posted before, I'll take 2 calendars regardless of cost. Please factor in that I live in Canada! Also Kudos to everybody that made this happen! Larrs smile.gif
Larrs, tibbytib, myron... please post your orders in the official thread I just created. Thanks!

it's been years since I was familiar with paper weights. How heavy is 80# paper? isn't 20# normal "copy" paper? what were last year's?
hm... looking at last years orders, I don't see us selling much more than 40. If we buy 60 and only sell 40, it's $15 plus shipping/paypal.

last years calendar weights 3.41 oz so lets just say 5oz to be sure its covered. so what ever the shipping rate of 18.75lbs+box so lets just say 20lbs from 43230 to your zip in TN. would be cost of shipping to YOU.
so 600 for the calendars + maybe like 25 shipping to you + cost of shipping to each person (which you should have from last year)
only other cost is the paypal 3% fee. am i missing anything else on pricing??

that pretty much covers it... but paypal is actually 2.9% +$0.30 per transaction. nana.gif
I need to see what shipping supplies the post office provides for free. I'll need envelopes large enough for calendars.
Anticipate $40 for shipping. Pricing are going up right now, higher than they were last year, and these calendars will weigh more than they did last year. Last year I think I paid $30 for shipping.

I know this thread has been dead for a while, but I did want to bring up the fact that I have a copy of every calendar. When laid side by side, the one which I did was undoubtedly the best quality. When I say best quality, I mean: Thickest. Glossiest. Most well made. Clear coated. Reflective where the car should be reflective. Highest resoloution. Not to toot my own horn, but the best graphics design as well.
We paid a few bucks extra, but I personally take as much pride in my work as I do my car and I think it's worth it to pay a few bucks more to have something which you can be proud to display all year long and hear oooh whenever someone looks at it.

Just saying.. the vocal minority who didn't want to spend $5 more on a calendar can go to hell. A calendar provides dates and entertainment for an entire year. We should spend more next year.
