And again another idea smile.gif

We can have some different prizes for COTM.
For example -
1. winner,
2. best custom mod
3. best exhaust sound

But, for example if only one car will have custom mod (let's say for example 5 cent coins all around windshield) we shouldn't give the prize for Best Custom Mod for that car cause there were nobody else or other participants put insulation tape on the back window and make it with stripes. We should give this prize for real good things.

If there would be a lot of participants we could also divide it on: best performance car of the month, best audio/interior, best exterior. But I doubt we'll have so much participants, but who knows...

RD points should be the prize for all that stuff or maybe the COTM winner could be in a special group or something so everyone remembers they won

Mod that you did and that is unique.

You are just taking it too far now mang.

The DIY of the Month deal I support, the others, that's just too much for so small of a member base.

Let's get the DIY of the month thing figured out and we'll see if we should change anything later.

Yeah, good call REDZ.

Dimitry, calm down there. Let's keep this thread about your first idea (the good one).

I say do it monthly, like random said, it will increase the amount of DIY;s if the prize is worthwhile. That's why i liked this idea, because I have always wanted to see more DIY's. That's why I started visiting this site.

I say, let's include maintance DIY as well, or FIY (not to be confused w/ FYI).

Oil change
bleeding brake fluid
changing tranny fluid
changing ps fluid
resetting ECU properly
aligning headlights
changing spark plugs
removing valve cover
etc.

all good ideas. They will help lots of members out.
