he'll send you a replacement set while he's workin' on your stuff

consider it a cool plus! not only do you get to keep driving, but the miles on the odometer will stay the same while he's working on them. gotta' love that. haha

i was going to do the replacement hing, but i dont think i have anymore replacement clusters, plus its just more money with shipping. it would prolly be best if you bought a replacement cluster off ebay, then sent me your stock one. that way you wouldnt have to worry about doing anything to the odometer once it gets back to you. it would be completely ready to plug in.

then, once you get your stock one back, you could send your replacement to the next person in line, at the same price you bought it for.

heres some on ebay right now...

got a bunch of stuff yesterday.

got all your controls today tibwrc. ill prob. get a chance to work on them a little today too. just to make sure...

1. All red as far as illuminations are concerned(with some blue for the temp control).

2. blue indicatior lights for the two switches and blue markings on the dials.

3. blue to red change on the temp dial(only if it looks good, without purple).

am i correct?

redz, ill get the leds/resitor on the fog light switch, and resistors on the rest of the dash switches soon too. along with your window switch. ill give the window lock button a try, but those things are tough to get apart. i think i broke one last time getting it apart too, but ill make sure not to break this one if. ill have to use the brain to figure out diff. ways of getting to this one.

i dont think i could do much with the sunglasses/sunroof control. the dimmer switch can have a light put into it. send it to me if ya want it done. the door lense project is coming along. im making the casing for the mold right now.

do you still have the taillights redz?

yes, exactly.......

Thinking about the temp dial pointer color change, if it doesn't look good w/ just the red and blue, how about a white led right at the top??? that way it would go from blue (cold) to white (warm) to red (hot). just thought.

If you dont have any white leds....just go to your local radio shack or whatever and pick one up for me and ill give you some more money for that and a couple bux for gas.

You feeling any better?

just sent the request. i got your switches done too redz, but i wasnt able to do the resistor thing to the rear wiper switch. i think i just crimped a resistor back there on my car. there isnt enough room to get a resistor in there. ill get the stuff sent out soon.

mad, sent your package yesterday. make sure the red leds are in their holes securely when it gets to you. i ran out of superglue(and figured you would rather have it than wait another day for some krazy glue), so i used some hot glue, dont know how well it will hold them in. you may want to dab the red leds with a little krazy glue when you get it.

tibwrc, ive started on your controls. got the switches done, getting ready to work on the rest soon. for some reason, the siwtches have diff. boards in them than the other rd2 switches ive done. i think i still got the direction of the led in right, but im going to test it in my car before i send them. ill have my car apart soon anyway.

Thanks bro. I've got some of the resistors here that chris sent me anyways. I'd rather cut and crimp once than 12 times. LOL

BTW, I have a box now, Marla's box that her new sewing machine came in is big enough. Your tails will go out on Monday when I get back from work.

How did the door switch come out?
