I will have these for sale if you guys want them. I will get these coming if someone wants one. Not as good a deal though.(360.00+SHIPPING) I can get shipping a little cheaper if I can chop the box like I did on some of the others, shouldn't be more than $15-$20. Again like I have said before these are the last ones that Hyundai is makeing. I think I can get 2-3 more and thats it.

You're right. If I remember correctly Hyundai has STOPPED producing these spoilers. That is why Knox wanted to let you guys know that he knew of some ways he could get his hands on some, because after these spoilers are gone the chances of you finding an OEM shark spoiler will be slim to none. So if you are wanting a shark spoiler that is 3 pillar and a FACTORY hyundai part, then you had better jump on this offer.

These are made for rd1's, but I have known people to make some anjustments so they will fit on rd2s

Yes these are the factory wings with the 3 pillars. They look just like the ones that west wings sell (but with the center pillar).

 

Thanks sis. Hyundai has stopped production of this spoiler. So you can't get it after the few I have found are gone. The kit comes with the wing, tail lamp and wiring(I believe, can't remember), new lifters for the hatch becasue this thing weighs more. I will only get these if I know someone wants one.

 

yes yes yes. these things are so difficult to find it's not even funny. they charged me $600 at the dealership for special order (that's ordering part after part and modelling it together) so i ordered one from KNOX and my dreams came true! If you go to the dealer to buy one premade, they won't let you unless you have a broken one on backorder/repair and you need to give the registration number along with it. No sense in trying =(

These are the Shark Wing Spoilers/Shark Fin Spoilers/Tiburon Special Edition (1999) Spoiler. They are common, but sweet and agressive. I think they are the best spoilers for RD1's. No they will not fit RD2's only because the pillars are designed for RD1's. If you look closely at RD1 and compare the pillars on the stock spoilers to RD2's, the placement of the pillars on the RD2's are much closer to each other than RD1. That, and there is no third pillar. The Shark Spoiler comes with LED, all wires necessary, instruction booklet, wedges between spoiler & trunk, stronger hatch lifters, all necessary screws, anti-moisture/rust glue, and drilling directions. It needs to be painted.

All you would need is for a body shop to drill the extra holes in the upper trunk for support and paint it.

Personally, I think it's a more agressive spoiler to me. It also loks way cooler when you look back from the driver's seat and see a nother level in the back. It looks like a shark fin, but reminds me of devil horns.

In my opinion, they look a lot better with rear bumper skirts or lips, but nonetheless will attract many, many girls. Haha.
