HyundaiKitCoupe: Thanks for the info you gave man. It sounds like you installed and I haven't gotten a pic. Whats up with that? hahaha
Anyway, actually it will fit a RD2(had one in the shop about a week ago, looked pretty good) but I did not get a chance to ask the person how it was installed.

1997 tibby: 361.00 shipped. I know its a little more than what I sold it to HyundaiKitCoupe for but it is costing more for me to get them. If you want I can get it. Just let me know

it's completely brand new. also, you won't get a brand new shark spoiler with brand spankin' new complete kit for any less.

if you find one cheaper, chances are it will be from far away and it will be used. also, you would have to re-coat the used one with paint and it wouldn't come with all of the necessary parts. it's probably just not worth the trouble.

mine came in perfect condition. they come sprayed with a protective pre-coating. it's light grey but for all anyone cars it can be blue because it still needs to be painted and glossed. actually, i didn't mind paying the $320 total for the wing. it beats driving around like mad harassing the junk yards plus it's new so everything comes included.

30$ more is better than $600 at the dealership. This might be the only time you can get one if you want one. i went to the dealer and they said Hyundai don't want to sell any more of these because they need to sell parts for the new line-up, not the old. KNOX, you will agree with me on this. The limited spoilers that you got were on backorder, not from the U.S. but from Canada. That's right, from Canada. So you might as well have the dealership have them first, then pay $20 for shipping.

Just a thought. I'm positive you will be happy. I am still excited as hell having it. I dunno, you can save yourself a lot of trouble ruining your time and eyes doing research on the computer for hours and hours trying desperately to get a hold of one--than to just buy one when it's there. Installation and painting is going to cost you some so you might as well... plus you are getting it from a loophole. brand spankin' new off the line still in box. i'm here to back up and say you can trust that it will ship fast and you get exactly what you see. no missing parts and a trusted distributor garunteed. i don't think you can get discounts because there's no profit out of these. if there is it would be substantially small and not worth the trouble.

but that's just my opinion. i'm just saying from experience. i mean, it's a pain in the butt trying to find one of these. spend countless hours trying to get my hands on one until BAM! i'm surprised they have not been swept away. i love the stock spoiler! i hate to get rid of it. But when you see this beauty you won't regret a thing.

haha, no i have not installed it due to the old man winter. actually, i'm trying to get my aftermarket engine parts in. it will be exactly a month before everything gets on. i figure, when the paint is drying off, my mechanic can work on the engine simultaneously. it should be the beggining of march! not too far away! will have pics.

anyways, just a word of advice. i'm not trying to convince anybody. just letting you guys a dose of reality. if you really want one, be prepared to spend day after day, hour after hour on the computer, looking for one for the price you like. It won't be soon.

HyundaiKitCoupe: Again YOU ARE THE MAN. Thank you for letting people know this is for real, NO MORE WILL BE MADE. I have access to these but won't be able to get them until they are sold (the boss doesn't want to spend the money if they are just gonna sit here, because we will be stuck with these) I think they look awesome if I still had my impreza and not the cobra I would have tried to see if I could get it to fit on it. smile.gif
JavaGeek: I will have to get the part # from the ones in the kit to give you a price on those lifters. HyundaiKitCoupe if you could pull those from your spoiler kit and PM or post that part # that would make it alot easier.

No problem! Haha, just sharing what I went through to try and find these until it was handed to me exclusively. That's right, the 1996-1998 Impreza's looked awsome! I've seen a lot of tuners have wings west Shark spoilers on their Eclipses...

The lifter part # is: 81770-27021. Remind me if something is not right. Java, you also might need the wedges or bushings that go between the spoiler and the body if you don't have them already. They are the same ones on stock spoilers but made to fit the shark spoilers. I think they prevent moisture from going through and protect the body.

yes yes, very important. also, my kit came with a glue to surround the drilled holes to prevent any kind of rust. it's a kit. the glue is also for surrounding the LED sockets with to keep moisture from seeping in.

i don't know the part number for that as it's part of the kit. i think you can just use rubber cement or something similar.

KnoxHyundai, if you could get me a quote for the lifters, wedges, and also for the 10 of the white plastic pieces that the panel screws thread into that would be great!

If you can afford an M Coupe, you can afford this. LOL

Seriously dude, buy it. $360 is a drop in the bucket, and once you put it on you wont even care how much you spent on it, it'll look that good.

edit: aw sh!t, my spoiler's being put on my car right now, I hope they can jerry rig some sort of bushing set up so it doesnt look like @ss again. If not, I might need that kit from you KNOX.
