The ECU wouldn't do you much good unless you also had no cats/free flowing exhaust, oversized valves, port/polish/heat work, and the other mods this engine has.

I would think it might help out a tad. At least being on the aggressive side of things it could help no? I dunno, maybe it's just the fact that we don't really know how to mess with the ECU enough. Thought it could be worth something.
