First off, I'd like to defend myself on a couple of things...1.) I may be a newbie to posting, but I've been around longer than most viewing forums like these( i.e. since Yam, Random, and Visionz were still running the SR forums back in the day), and this is exactly why I do not post; everyone thinks they have to piss on each other to mark their territory, 2.) I wasn't trying to out bid you CyberShark, I was just trying to get a message to the seller that if things did not work out with you, I'd be willing to pay more than asking price if he decided he was selling it for too cheap... that's it!

 

Showoff, No hard feelings man. Seriously. The reason I was so vigilant about this is that I had a similiar problem not too long ago in on another forum. I was just trying to stop a potential problem before it started but I like to believe, after reading your say on the matter, that you had no ill intensions towards myself. I believe that OP could've handled it better as I feel his job is to moderate and not to defend or to take sides. I'm not attacking you OP, I think we get along fine. What bothers me is that no one asked you to defend anybody. I just asked you to Moderate.

OP, Try not to take sides. We need to not only be Moderators, but Mediators too. Even though that role isn't one we (For-Sale and GB Mods) need to fill very often.

Cyber, sorry I didn't respond to your PM as quickly as I would normally have, I was at a freinds watching the game. But if soemthing like this ever pops up again, even if its not something that you are personally buying, PM the person you have a prob. w/ (and the mod) and try to keep it out of the thread.

I think that Cyber jumped to a conclusion a little too hastily, or read a bit too deep into what Showoff was saying initially, and Showoff, I understand what you were trying to do, but please keep comments / offers like that private (PM, EMAIL, IM), if not b/c we have a rule against it, then to help this forum as a whole not have to deal w/ the headaches that your comment yesterday created.

Tell me more about the head. Is it the whole head? Like can I just bolt it on and go?

And does anyone now if this would work on a 1.8 liter motor?

Reason I ask is my engine overheated and I dont know if the head warped or not. I would like to get a spare one to have port and polished. But I have a feeling it wont work on the 1.8 liter engine.
