Shit Racing eh?
LOL
Hell no.
Kspec.com sold these for awhile, too expensive though. Just not worth it in most cases. I think we sold like 3 in 3 years.
BTW, we can still get them if anyone doesn't want to risk it with SR.

Damnit of all the people who say not to bring things up. For the last time no one cares. Just like I posted in the begining of this thread. Thats great that kSpec has them. And you know maybe if David took some time and actually put parts on the website more people may buy things from them. End of rant. You should give yourself a warning for posting off topic. Now for those of us who follow what we preach.
Jaws do you think getting the Korean version of the water temp unit that controlls the fan would make this operate at a higher level of functionality?

They were on the site. We took them off because they never sold.
I'm sorry man, but anti SR stuff is appreciated on this site. It really is. I know you've had good experiences withthem, but the 2 Admins here haven't, and neither have most of the members that have bought from them.

Really don't think the Anti-SR stuff is "appreciated"(not the word I would've chosen)... but whatever...
Either way, if it is in fact a Korean spec thermostat (and it probably is), I don't see it being any more accurate or effective than a U.S spec one. Like others said, and you yourself, slimlines are probably the best and most effective way of cooling things, along with an oil cooler. Since you have the slimlines, you should be more than cool enough, especially with a manual override once you install it.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (UltraTibby)</div><div class='quotemain'>Lets make this easy. You dont know what you are talking about plain and simple tongue.gif: . This replaces the actual thermostat duh. The speedchips are nothing more than a resistor.</div>
he knew that, he was just making light of the fact that you wasted your money. wink1.gif
the only thing this will do is allow your engine to stay <span style="font-size:8pt;line-height:100%">a little</span> cooler the first 5 minutes of driving, which you shouldnt be doing really hard anyway.
even if it was 50 bucks, owned2.gif by sr. laugh.gif: wink1.gif
