LED blued out a/c controls RD1
just finished these. the digi-cam is crappy with leds, and shows them brighter than they actually are. they are actually dimmer than you see in the pic, but bright enough that you can see the blue in a lighted environment. oh, and i snapped a whole bunch of pictures for a DIY on this, but i dont have enough time to write it tonight.

the only modification you need to do is to make the a/c illumination work. its a green and white wire on the plug that goes in to the back of the button. you have to cut that wire, tape up the ends, and then connect a resistor in line with taps. heres a pic of the resistor i will supply with it...

the illuminations for the other button tap into the wires on this assembly, so thats why i cant do the a/c control illum.(unless i wanted to be real cool, i might do it, and i would charge 5 dollars extra).
another thing, the little dots on the dials dont really light up to well. i could fix this using a variation of my needle DIY, but it would prolly take long, and i would have to charge like 25 extra.
so to whoever is interested, im charging 60 for this. shipping will be like 8 dollars. if you are interested, also tell me if you want to have me setup the a/c button so you dont have to cut wires and such(even though it really is pretty easy) for the extra 5 dollars. and if you want the little dots to be brightened too for the extra 25.
EDIT
almost forgot to say, the lights that come on with the button pushed in are blue too, all three of them in total.
