<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (mb499 @ Aug 10 2007, 08:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>I had that same pulley, just sold it like a month ago. Never tried it out, but was supposed to be for 00-01.</div>

Yes, you sold it to me! And I just got around to installing it today and it doesn't fit. Not even close! Here are a couple of pics:

You can EASILY tell that the middle part is way smaller than what the stock pulley has.

Redz - you mentioned that Jspeed only does stuff for the beta. Is there any chance different betas have different sizes for this pulley?

Edit: Compare with this picture:

I think there clearly is a difference in how the center part looks comparing this with my first pic, don't you? The hole is bigger and the depth difference of the center part is smaller..

My $65.00 OBX crank pully was snug, but went right on.

This one doesn't fit for sure. I think from the pictures it's clear that there are two types of Jspeed pulleys..

I looked around on ebay, and I think I might have found an application for this pulley:

I took the pulleys from these two auctions (I think they are stock size)
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/96-00-HYUND...sspagenameZWD1V
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/95-99-HYUND...sspagenameZWD1V

And I made this picture:

I assumed the stock accent pulley has the same size as the tiburon pulley.. don't know that for sure.. It looks that the inner hole size of the stock accent pulley is even smaller (perhaps the whole pulley is bigger and the image is not to scale?)

It looks as though it would fit an accent.. What do you think?

Edit: I asked the same question on HP, hopefully a knowledgeable Accent owner will chip in smile.gif

What you SHOULD do is go to Kspec's forums and b**** at them till they fix the problem.

Well, like I said, I got it from mb499 and I don't know for a fact he got it from kspec (and he hasn't replied yet to any of my messages).. Plus *I* didn't buy it from kspec, so I doubt I'm in any position to b**** to them.. I did write them an email so we'll see if they answer it. But judging from the first message in this thread, it's not very likely..

I'f you're implying I should stop posting in this thread, well, I was just hoping I could get some info from somebody that knows more than me..
