I have a set of blue vent angel eyes for the RD2 (is it the same for the RD1?) for sale. They look terrific when installed!! Check out my interior shot of them installed
I made these on my own, they include 4 angel eyes, 2 oval (for the middle vents), and 2 round with about 2 feet of wire attached. Color when lit up will be blue.

Asking $60 shipped to anywhere in the US, add $5 for out of country.

that is, quite frankly, the most impressive picture of an RD interior that I have ever seen. (and I've taken many pics of my interior... ) wink1.gif

That's because he has leather... I wish I had leather.

Holy crap, so I just thought of something for the first time: It's possible that junkyard tibs would have leather interiors... hmm..

I picked up an entire leather interior out of a 2001 tib with 20k on it... for 80 bucks. But good luck getting a deal like that cause they couldnt tell they were leather they were so muddy... The car sat in a yard with no windows and gravel everywhere for like a year.

Sorry im whoring your thread!

Leather was just an added benefit, but bulk of the good looking part (imo) was the lighting, and that was quite the adventure!! I'm a professional photographer, so I love doing things like this, and the main thing is about controlling the lighting. It was perfectly dark, and with a 2.5 second exposure, and proper flash, I was able to get this. If you want a pic, come visit!! I can't do outdoor pics quite as easily, but when I can control the lighting, it's not terribly hard.
But yeah, that is probably one of the best one's I've taken with my camera cool.gif Thanks Phorq, I appreciate it wink1.gif

Back on topic now...

Blaze has DIBS until tuesday, pending payment.

I am able to make more of these!! Blaze is getting a set (hopefully), I'm sending one set to DTN tomorrow (pics to come soon), and I can certainly make more! They're easy to install, make your interior look FABULOUS, and it's a nice price break from other places!
Post here and/or PM me if any of you want a set. Default color will be blue, add $5 and about a week's time if you want a different color. I'd be more than happy to make more of these, just tell me!!

Mine are pretty bright, I sometimes turn them off at night on a very dark road (gotta love how bright our headlights are...) However, I don't have a terribly powerful resistor on them, so a bigger one would make a difference. Or if you're really technically savvy (DTN) you could add a variable resistor inline with them. Or you could do it the easy way and point the vents away from your face, so you don't see them quite as much. I always have them aimed right at me because they look soooo good! For the first couple hours driving with them in, I found them to be so good looking, I was looking at them more than than i was the road, and proved kinda dangerous! sad.gif
I've gotten compliments from everybody that's seen them, everyone is just astounded at how they look. Apparently this isn't done in too many cars for whatever reason, so anytime people see them, they're floored.

You want a set? laugh.gif

I can easily make these for whoever wishes, in almost any color, just let me know!!

I'm hella interested. Those things look awesome. Great shot btw, I thought that was by the company or something... but you make them... and it was taken by you... fing02.gif

If you can get more, I'll buy a set. Is it difficult taking out the vents for install?

Also, if you don't mine my asking, how did you get your window switches blue??
