I'm moving and cleaning out some stuff, and I found a set of braided SS brake lines that I never installed on my car. These are from the group buy a while back that redz organized. They were never on my car, and have just been sitting my closet since then.

$60 shipped, I can post a pic if anybody wants one.

dont mean to kill your sale, but these are the same lines that burst on many people in that group buy. i wouldn't have mentioned it if it werent a HUGE safety fact.

So did Redz give refunds to people that bought unsafe brake lines? I haven't been on this site much so I haven't kept track.

redz didnt make the lines, he only setup the group buy with a vendor on ebay who DID have great communication and customer service. we didn't learn until a good couple months after the group buy finished that people were having problems with them. we tried to get back in touch with the vendor, but he bolted. i actually got a replacement line for one that burst, but it was way before we started having mass problems with them.

We don't make the products in group buys therefore WE do not give refunds if something goes wrong with them. I bought a set as well and donated them to BSE to fab us up new lines.

i would chuck them in the trash can if i were you dude. it's not like installation error on these things either, they are busting at the crimps.

Yup. The original seller stopped returning emails at all after folks started having problems, but they STILL SELL THE LINES!!!
