Yup I got through Albany on my way to Canada.

Purpletib: I will never sell the TB! lol, not unless I sell the car. as for a vertical door kit, well, from seeing how the kit fits on Rixshark's car, and how he had to modify the stock fenders to fit the kit, I would definitely say that these would clear it.

After inspecting the fenders again, there are 3 cracks that would need to be refiberglassed/bondoed. They are in places that are easy to fix, when I crashed the black tib the same fender was damaged and that time the damage was much much worse than what it has now. My bodyshop fixed them and they came out like brand new. Now, there are stress cracks in the paint, which don't make a difference because they need to be repainted anyway. The other fender does have a small chip in the corner which is an easy fix, that must have occured from me moving them.

Here's some pics, I will try to explain the damage under each pic.

Passenger's side fender:

You can see the biggest crack to the left of the vents. The vents themselves have no t been cracked at all.

Most of the cracking shown here is in the paint only. The paint chips right off down to the fiberglass, which is in tact (except the 3 cracks I am pointing out) underneath.

Crack at where the fender meets corner light . Easily sanded down and repaired with fiberglass.

Close up of the biggest crack, next to the vents. Easily sanded down and repaired with fiberglass. For a cleaner look, you could probably repair it from the back, then fill the crack in on the front with bondo, then sand that down smooth and paint it. Just a thought.

Another shot of the crack next to the vents. You can see how the paint has chipped off next to one of the vents to reveal the gelcoat on the fiberglass below.

Shot of the widebody vent. You can see a crack towards the middle of it, which looks like an easy fix. You can also see that towards the bottom it is chipped, which can be fixed with bondo. There is a also a crack towards the top of the widebody vent, it's hard to see in this pic. The rest of the cracks in this pic are stress cracks in the paint layer only.

Close up of crack at top of widebody vent.

Another shot of crack at top and middle of widebody vent.

Close up of chip at bottom of widebody vent.

Driver's side vent:

Minor chip at top corner, extremely easy fix

There are also some very minor stress cracks where the fender meets the corner light, I couldn't capture them in the pic because they weren't that big. I think they may be mostly in the paint layer. I didn't notice them until the fender came off the car, so I wouldn't even say that they would need fixing at this point. They would be covered fenders are repainted.

As I said, these are easily fixable, either by a bodyshop, or yourself if you are good with bodywork. I have dabbled in bodywork and would feel confident fixing these myself. Again, the damage is no where near as bad at it was when I had them on my black tib and it was crashed. Here's a couple pics of the damage that my bodyshop fixed. You can see that the fender was ripped off the car at the bottom, and the part where the corner ligh goes was completely caved in:

So, if they were able to fix all that damage, the current damage shouldn't be hard at all.

Ok guys, I will be getting a shipping quote tomorrow, so if anyone wants one who hasn't already asked, please let me know. I jsut wanna save myself multiple trips to UPS with these things, lol.

Well, bad news. I got a quote from UPS for the three of you. Shipping via UPS is $700ish for Israel, $633 for UK, $119 for Albany.

However, gsasha I may be able to work something out. I may be able to ship them a different way. I will send you a PM.

Otherwise, steve b I will most likely be making a trip through Albany either in late April or early May, and can bring them up there then if you dont mind waiting.

holy poop. 500$ for it being a rare part is one thing, but 500$ for a rare part that needs this much repair.. jesus. i guess if people are willing to pay thats all that matters. just like the clowns that pay 600+for an air ram lol.

I don't expect to actually get $500. I put that much so that way if I put how much I actually want, people wouldn't lowball me below that amount. It's like when you sell a car, or a house, you usually price it a bit higher to give a sort-of cushion so that you still get the amount you really want, and the buyer feels as if they are getting a good deal on their end.
