FS: HP DV5 Laptop 200$
Up for sale is my HP DV5 Laptop.
First off, the computer is in great working order and just needs a battery. It will stay on AC power all day long though. You can get a ching chong battery for like 35$ on ebay (i use them in my Dell and they work perfectly)
Secondly, if you are worried about your software being genuine, pass on by.
Thirdly, if you are OK with the above two, this would be the laptop for you.
It is loaded with Photoshop CS, Adobe Acrobat PRO, Windows 7 Ultimate, AutoCAD 2006, a watermarking program, Quickbooks, Full version of Microsoft Office 2003, among many more.
I can wipe everything off the HDD or keep the programs on it, that will be up to the buyer.
I have taken the laptop apart a couple of times to fix some issues from the factory, but everything is in 100% working order now. (I used artic silver 5 on the heat sink and I fixed a connection on the backlighting)
The specs on the laptop are as follows:
15.4" WXGA High-Definition BrightView Widescreen (1280 x 800)
AMD dual core 2Ghz processor (ill get exact model when I get pictures)
2GB RAM
DVD burner
integrated LAN
Wireless LAN 802.11a/b/g
SD card reader
Media Remote
built in webcam
Its a little scratched up, but still looks pretty good. The reason I am selling it is between my new beast (desktop) and my Android phone, I don't really have a need for the laptop anymore. I have my old Dell for portability and if I can't use my phone.
This computer has served me pretty well, but its just collecting dust now.. Its no gaming powerhorse, but has plenty of power for most tasks. I regularly ran Photoshop and AutoCAD on it without issues. I created my 3D turbo/engine models on this system without any hiccups.
I can also probably get any other software you might be interested in 'pre-loaded' if you would like.
The hard drive I THINK is ~180GB or so. I can also throw on about 70 movies of your choice from my library.
I would be able to ship this via Flat Rate USPS which would cost an additional ~15$

I'm interested in this. I need another laptop since I plan on spinning music videos at the clubs. The one I use now is kind of old and cant really handle videos...only audio. I would have to definitely upgrade the memory though since 1 gig isnt enough. As soon as I see your pics added to the thread, I'll either call dibs or pass.

yeah, 1GB memory isnt the most awesomeness, but now that i think about it, i think its actually 2GB.. ill get back to you in a few hours!

i just checked and it IS 2GB of memory. haha..

I have the Macromedia 8 Suite on it aldo (Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash)
I am logged in the computer through logmein, i will get pics in 2 hours!
looks to be a 160GB HD also.
