FS: Haltech e6k EMS Standalone w/laptop & beta1 2.0 Motor 6000miles
First item up for grabs is the Haltech full standalone EMS. Car is getting parted for another project that I'll start a new thread for. (dont worry still Tib related tongue.gif)

E6K System Description:
The HALTECH E6K is a powerful "real-time"
Programmable fuel injection and ignition system
Computer designed to control most ignition type
Engines. Whether 1-6, 8, 10 or 12 cylinders, 1-2
rotors, naturally aspirated, turbocharged or
supercharged, the HALTECH E6K can
control it. The E6K uses all of the functionality
included with the E6S family plus the E6K adds the
following:
· doubled microprocessor speed
· an internal barometric pressure sensor
· dedicated PWM outputs (4) to control numerous
solenoids, valves, shift lights, and other devices.
· “intelligent” on-board reluctor adaptor to cater for
all types of trigger inputs
· immediate software updates via your PC.
The E6K is capable of controlling up to 8 low impedance
or 16 high impedance injectors. If necessary an additional
driver box can be added for more injector outputs. The
E6K System optimises engine performance through the
following capabilities:
· ignition timing control
· fuel control
· idle speed control
· barometric pressure compensation
· closed loop O2 control
· on board reluctor adapter
The E6K is much more than a programmable fuel
injection computer - it provides logging of
engine data and allows access in real time to
maximise performance and trouble-shoot
problems in a vehicle while running.

The patented HALTECH system of programming
virtually eliminates the input of numbers. You simply
manipulate graphics in the form of bar graphs and by
pressing arrows you increase or decrease the amount
of fuel or ignition delivered at that particular load point.

Comes with complete manual you see in the pic from setting it up to tuning how-to. I will also include the tunning laptop with the haltech software installed that was used for tuning it. Here is some basic info on it. Compaq Armanda m300. Battery can be purchased for this but it was run with a 150watt power inverter. It's small and very light (3lbs). Roughly 12" x 11" x 0.9" thick. Runs windows 98 and is already pre-loaded with the Haltech software.

2nd Item on the list
Beta 1 2.0 Motor with 6000miles. I bought this motor last year with the intention of building a bullet proofed monster. The motor is in excellent condition as it was only on the car taken from for 8 months till they got rear ended. I paid 660$ for it and am willing to to sell it for $350 because at this point I need the space for the new project. If you check ebay, motors with 50,000 miles+ are selling for $550 and up. I think this is a reasonable price smile.gif
Local pick up is preferred on the engine, but will ship it if you are willing to pay for the shipping. If someone would like both items I could work a deal with them for all 3 items.
