Look, for you older COTM's that won when we were NOT making these, remember, they are a GIFT, and will be sent out when they are done. I got your PM's, and let my wife know. She hasn't worked on it yet, so I'll get her the info again and get it to her. Please, PM LIZGIGGLES if you want an update on your COTM boots.

These are very nice. A question though: mine is pretty squeaky when I move the shifter, esp before/when putting it in 1st (squeaky as in they make an annoying sound). Any tips on how to make them squeak less?

The squeak is from your shifter, it's impossible for this stuff to squeak.

Lol, I'm not an idiot. I squeaks because it rubs on itself when I move the shifter, i can make it squeak by moving just the vinyl around.. Maybe I didn't put it in right, dunno..

They can squeek. Mine did. I know what he's talking about. Just think of the squeek from pleather pants when they push/rub together.

I just had to play with mine a little. Take a clean wet cloth and wipe it down followed with a papertowel to dry it to get any possible oil off and kind of pull the boot up a little so it's not between your stick and the surround.
