Since i bought my HD i have no need for my 97 Tiburon. I also have <span style="font-size:12pt;line-height:100%">ZERO</span> interest parting this out. I don't have the time or patience to deal with tearing things apart, boxing, shipping and all the hassle that comes with it.
That being said, if someone in the North East has the capabilities to transport this thing and do what they want with it, then please come take it off my hands.
I will take $300 obro.
This is a 97 1.8L Rev-A Tiburon. 108,000 on the odometer. The front brakes have been converted to non-captive (and also have brand new bearings in the hub). The intake cam and front brake set up (with brand new r/f caliper) will make your money back right there. The starter has been replaced within the last year. The battery (DieHard) is less than a year old. I MAY take that out. i believe it will fit in my mothers vehicle. if thats the case, i'm gonna save that. 3 out of 4 tires are in good shape.
the drivers door has the most damage on it from a side swipe accident. (pic below)
It honestly isn't in good shape to drive. the only thing holding the exhaust up is a leather belt that i had to take off of my pants one day. lol
SOOOO. someone. anyone. if you want a parts car, please take this.
THANK YOU smile.gif

not at the moment. theres nothing special under there except for a cheap EBay header, resinator removal, and a red spark plug cover
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (likeyoumeanit @ Jul 27 2009, 08:28 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}></div><div class='quotemain'>How not drivable are we talking about? what all does it need to be back in dd condition?</div>
well, at least in Mass, where its incredibly strict on car mods, the exhaust will get you pulled over right away. the pipe broke at the catalytic convertor (thus needing a belt to hold it up). thats the biggest thing. fix the exhaust and it could be a DD for winter.
when the exhaust finally broke and dropped, the fumes getting into the cab were almost unbearable. even with the windows down driving on the highway, it was still fvckin w/ my head

Is it manual or auto? Leather or cloth seats? Pics of the interior?
And from what I understand the exhaust is the only issue with it? No mechanical problems or anything? Is it worthy of a road trip besides the exhaust being horrifically loud? You say it needs transported, but I don't see nothing that would indicate that it's not street ready.
This is a hell of a deal, if it was closer, I would taken it off your hands immediately. But your a little farther away then me then I would like, so I am taking a little more things into consideration.
Let me know, I might go beg my dad for a "loan". smile.gif
