I'm not sure if the two pistons are the same. I would think they'd be different.

WTF?
Well, are they ROSS or are they WISECO???? They can't be both!
And if they are Wiseco (which it looks like by the box and its color), then they're NOT 8.5:1 comp. They only start from 8.7:1 and go up from there depending on the block decking.
The stock block bore is 82mm. Check Webtech. So if the pistons are 82.5mm, then of course you need to bore the block.
Wiseco piston sets COME with the rings and wrist pins. They're not an addition.
And where are these "TOGA" parts? I only see Topline parts, and it looks like those small boxes on the bottom are Topline Bearings.

My 1.8 RD Tiburon has the
Turbo Pistons
And my block has the "1.8/2.0" also my intake manifold....
Both are the same.... the only difference is the stroke of the crankshaft....

Well I did buy them. I figured they would have to work considering they are basically the same pistons you have jon except they are 82.5 instead of 83. I know that the block will have to be bored and honed for these pistons. If it turns out they are different, then I will just sell them I suppose.
Anyway, they ARE wiseco. Are these a well recommended turbo piston? From what I have read they are but could you give me your personal experience jon?
Thanks and sorry for being offtopic.gif
