Ok...due to wanting to expand my family and not trying to spend any money on a car for awhile (unless maintence)...I am selling my 1998 Hyundai Accent Beta swap Turbo, I purchase the car from fellow member yamaha on the site...and because of stupid Maryland inspections laws and me being a resisdent of Michigan (no car inspection), have not switched title over and will be doing so next week...I have drove it a total of 15 miles due to no tuning (only needs fuel tuner and wideband)
specs of the car
1. 1998 Hyundai Tiburon BetaI motor with 36,000 miles
2. 1998 Hyundai Accent Alpha transmission with 42,000 miles
3. Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch
4. Stock resurfaced flywheel
5. Mercedes Benz T3 turbocharger
6. Sparco intercooler
7. HKS SSQ blow off valve (real one)
8. Full 2.5" mandrel bent turbo back exhaust with:
Catalytic converter
Flexpipe
Glasspack
9. 1998 Hyundai Tiburon 2.0l ECU
10. New front rotors and brake pads.
12. New rear brake pads, wheel cylinders, hardware kit, and drums.
13. New 13" tires
14. Turbonetics Delta wastegate with 5psi spring and open dumptube
15. Automoter boost gauge
16. New battery
17. New alternator
this is what yamaha quoted in his sale thread
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>Motor has perfect compression across the board at 210psi in each cylinder. The car runs well, and the transmission shifts without any grinds. The car starts and drives fine but will need three things to be perfect.
I was going to get a boost gauge installed at a electronics shop, to make a long story short they drilled through the firewall into the engine harness for the car. I've fixed most of the wiring, but the IAT needs two wires soldered to it. I will fix that before its sold. It will also need a new front oxygen sensor and a starter. I have an extra starter, but have not had time to install it. When the starter gets hot, the plunger inside it will not allow it to be restarted.
I have all the invoices from the parts/work done on the car. I have other things on my plate and I don't have time to enjoy the project anymore. This car will make someone very happy.</div>
Also the car will need a new starter, its starts and runs perfect but once engine gets hot and you turn off car, only why to restart it is push start or wait until engine cools...
it also did not come with Tachometer, so with the help of Denisst99, i replaced the tachometer with a 1999 Accent...also added Home Depot catch can w/check valve
also with the purchase of car you will get Dual Injector Intake Manifold, as well as a set of 42LB RC injectors and Autometer electric oil temp gauge, as well old Accent parts receive in my transaction...
this car IMO will be excellent AutoX car
i purchased it for 1500, I AM SELLING FOR 1200...ITS LOCATED IN LEXINGTON PARK/PATUXENT RIVER, MARYLAND, it would be best to tow car cuz of not having fuel tuning and starter
from Aug 4 to Aug 11 i will be out of town, and when i get back i will be adding the intercooler pipes back on (had off due to show a shop to get sandblasted and powercoated) and adding back seats back in
edit
via telephone yamaha has dibs...i will update as i get updates

The beta is a great motor and teh original builder (Yamaha) really knows his stuff so I would say this is a decent car reliability wise.
As far as I remember it needs some tuning but after that you can upgrade anything you want and push some big numbers.
