2000 Tiburon Junkyard Part out
Hey fellas. Found a very decent 2000 Tib at the junker.176,000 miles. Stock engine. No mods. Bad automatic trans. looks like some valve cover leakage, but no apparent head gasket leakage. Interior is very good condition. smelled like perfume. not smoked in. (clean ash tray no burn marks) so I thought I would snap some pics for the crew. Let me know what you need and I will ask for prices. This is my list of what I consider very good condition parts that are worth pulling. The junker seemed like a nice guy willing to work with me on the prices. If I didnt list an item you need, its probable not worth it, like the door sills, they were badly scratched up on both sides so i didnt list it here. check the photos and you make the call. Let me know what you need and i will be sure to check it out in depth this weekend and snap a photo for ya.
regarding engine parts, the junker does not want to part out engine bits. he said 350 for the block, intake manifold, exhaust manifold. no alternator, A/C, or P/S. not sure if with MAF. but ask me so I can ask him for ya.
the forklift operator destroyed the driver fender, front bumper, and hood, so those prime pieces are no good.

I need that flat metal strip that sits between the front bumper and hood. Has a rubber liner on one edge.

Things I can think of off the top of my head that I need:
round rubber covers/grommet covers that give access to the engine mount bolts (They are located in the front wheel wells)
License plate lights (if RD1 and RD2's are interchangeable, not sure).

While you're there, get the rubber hood stops/bumpers and the plastic screws with sleeves that go in the front bumper/rad support. Small enough to just throw in you pocket....

After reading, I don't think I fully explained. Not just the 2 front stops, but there are 2 side stops halfway back of the engine bay. Thanks!
