I would part it out. Because a bodykit doesnt make the value go up. I wouldnt buy a car with a bodykit because I would have to do extra work to take it off and all. Return it to stock wheels and bk should be able to sell for 1000 or 1500 idk I dont really like either (not ures just in general) so I dont really follow the prices. Not trying to be rude but if you could find some kid who likes the f&f and parents r giving him whatever thats the person u need to sell to.

I wouldn't part it out. Taking off the wheels and body kit would lower the value from what it is. Nobody will buy a body kit already used and painted for 2 years. The wheels would be hard to sell, as are all wheels, and expensive to ship. I think it'd be easier to sell to a local kid "as is"

Don't worry about the people who bag on your car. I get several people hating on my car online because of the kit, but I never meet anybody in person who doesn't like it (except REDZMAN). Everyone seems to like it and appreciate it...

I hope you do have some luck. as mentioned we are picky tiburon owners who have been around tiburons for a long time. I traded in a red RD2 70k on it, auto and they put it on the lot for 12,000. a girl at my school ended up buying it. i never thought they would get that much. i would say try some places where u can put it for not paying a lot and ask for 10 and put or best offer. have people come for a test drive and hopefully they will like it in person.

Hello ALL,

I just wanted to come back and let everyone know that the Tiburon finally sold today. It has been hell and man have I learned a LOT of lessons about selling vehicles, just what things are worth to others etc. After many ups and downs, people wanting to make payments, offer trades, fake checks, police not even wanting to pursue the fraud ...... I finally found the one guy that liked the car and what was done to it and his girlfriend going nuts over it that after a bit of haggling, and the fact that I just wanted it gone at this point .... I sold it for $8400.

I owed 7900 so I made 500 bucks, which basically covered the cost of advertising over the past 2 months.

Just thought some of you might want to know. Time to move on with my 2006 Dodge Charger. Wishing you all well and I will always be a Tiburon fan, I really had a lot of fun with that car and tried to fix the bad rap these cars seem to get ...... I watched it drive away and felt like a parent watching his kid go off to college! hehehe

CHEERS !!!

pretty sure those cars don't come in manual... all auto & auto-stick. an issue w/ the frame & space in regards to manual trannys (again, pretty sure)

but, congrats on the sale, i guess. shoulda waited for the challenger!!

congrats on the sale.

thats probably a pretty good price. I bought my 2001 tib in 2002 for 8k and it had 11.3k miles. But it has a salvaged title. That is the downside to owning a hyundai. people don't trust them in general and they have a lower resale. I think it's flipping retarded but those honda buys will pay rediculous amounts for honda's with 150k on them.
