Syncros do your dirty work.
If anyone tells you to double clutch to bring your shift time down theyre crazy, or just got done watching F&TF.
double clutching is only a useful talent if you have a car with shot syncros.

Never heard about electronic thing that rev match.
I know only one thing that match up the revs - the accelerator pedal lmao.gif

lol yeah it does have the syncro in our cars...The older ones dont have it and if u push it and dont match the revs u start jumping..
Yeah alex it was from FnF that the guy pulled it off...i watched it and i was thinking..double clutching?? laugh.gif it didnt feel like i needed it in my car laugh.gif

I had an Alfa with a creamed synchro on second gear so I got to play at double declutching as the only way to get into second ...with a good synchro a soccer mom would have been as quick. smile.gif
In my current Tib my dyno graph shows me still making power at redline so changing is brain out let the auto electronics do the work cuz the curve has me landing in higher power if I change higher. As the guys have said, a dyno graph will reveal a lot of stuff. 1st gear is so efficient that you use it to the max ....unless the graph shows a big droop after 5000rpm or something. 2nd is often the same...if your motor makes big torque it may reveal that you can change sooner if the motor starts to labour in the top revs of the higher gear. In normal driving it doesnt matter too much but at the track its worth crucial fractions . The graph is a big clue that will let you plan some theories to try...bear in mind you are always changing up to a gear that is less efficient at accelerating.

Hehe..yeah well i wish we had a dyno somewhere close but atm i have no idea where it is.. But anyway..i always rev hard and after like 5K rpm the CAI makes the sweetest sound like a deamon screaming, i love that sound! lmao.gif (that was a bit of topic lol)..
