what are the dyno's readings on stock RDs
Got my Tibby dyno'd @ stock only got CAI
Test was done in 3th gear (or 4th I'm not exactly sure)
Results:
123.0 WHP @ 6095 rpm
174 Nm @ 4170 rpm
Chiptuned:
136.9 WHP @ 6084 rpm
205 Nm @ 1716 rpm
I'm very pleased with it smile.gif

For those who are not familiar with euro units:
174Nm= about 117tq
205Nm=137tq

Actually, the original chip was removed and instead there's a chipsocket placed with a standard chip which was tuned on a dyno.
So I still have the original one for problems and/or reselling or guarantee smile.gif
Yeah, the guy really liked my CAI, was placed in a good way, not crappy like you see with some other car/brands.
Sucking up hot air can decrease HP, which some ppl don't seem to get.
I'll hope to scan my dyno on sunday, then I'll post a pic

The guy removed my ECU, driver side ( that's left in my country). He opened the box and there was a printed plate with some IC's and stuff. Only problem was there was some kind of coating/harsh on top of the stuff to protect it from moisture and maybe ESP or something. He carefully removed the coating with some scratching and after a hour or 2 was able to remove the chip with a heating.... thing (don't know the word in english, you use it to heat up tin to connect 2 pieces of metal). Then placed a chipholder and then he found out he didn't have the particulair chip (*512 type or something). So he ordered it from germany and I had too come back again (250 km drive damnit). Then he did a readout of the original chip, and tuned the settings and wrote it on the new one (my car was running righ on higher rpm).
And I must say, maybe it's all mentally but it's running better, faster throttle response and much better torque in the very low rpm. Normally in second gear with a almost complete stop when you press the throttle a little the engine sort of refuses, sucks up loads of air and can't really get the power and the car starts to do whobbly whobbly (you probably get it).
Now I can just use second gear all the time. (I don't because I don't wanna look like a 80 year old no good can't drive grandpa because my fast looking Hyundai accelarates like a bulldozer)
Weird is that I hear a lot of "problems" with the key ignition protection (there's a key code in the key and if you don't have the original keys you car won't start, electronic protection) because off the unichips don't have it and they have to get the code from the key and stuff. Seemed to have no problem with it, probably because he copied the chip 1 on 1 and the modified it.
