I posted on the DSM board and this is the explination I got.

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>The Elantra FPR is not a rising rate regulator. That means as his boost goes up, his FP stays constant. His injector pulse width gets too high and the car leans out. That is what is causing it to cut out. I am actually surprised he hasn’t lost a head gasket yet.</div>

So it is the FPR, as you suspected.

Yeah, according to OP, you should be running 9 Seconds flat NA.

</div>

redz, i never claimed any unrealistic numbers and only something that could have been done. If you went to the track more often you would know your car better and if you also knew how to drive it, you should expect pretty good results smile.gif

15.7 for a turbo charged car is awefully bad and we all know it! thats what he should run NA!

15.7 for a boosted 2.1l is bad and normally indicates a retarded driver or the car is messing up somehow

Doode, come on, let me play a BIT unkay?

Yes, 15.7 is BAD for a TC'd car. I know this. I still wanna see you brake 15 with a CAI.

LOL

I don't go to the track to race. Sorry. Why should I? I could care less what 1/4 I run or how many HP I have. I modify my car for ME. Not for anyone else. Sooner or later I WILL go to the track just so I can get a good 1/4 time for my car since it seems to be a GOTTA HAVE in the tuning world. I will get some dyno's, but they are just to show what the different parts I've bought and put on do to it.

As for driving ability?

Come on.

Enough of the OT stuff here.

Default Re: Gauge Group Buy GREAT DEAL from Splitfire!! NOW TAKING M

well, I wont be able to prove what I can do because I'm going different way smile.gif
Anyways, we should end this argument because none of us can be right since I cant prove it to you anymore smile.gif

and you should definitely go to the track and check your driving abilities and abilities of your car, just for you smile.gif

anyways, dweet, fix your car and get low 14s-high 13s smile.gif
