I own hyundai coupe 2.0 16v rd1 and i would like to know what's the times of stock tibby? There is no drag track in my town so we are basically street racing and my gps gave me 16.51 sec / 137.6 km/h when i was stock. Last week i won against a car that is 16.40 ( drag track no gps ) so i'm intrested if my times are ok. I'll do some new starts with the new upgrades ( short ram intake and custom made exhaust system ) so i can see if theres is some difference.

not to ruin your fun or anything, but i believe this Forum frowns upon street racing, so just dont mention it from this point forth thanks

 

We don't encourage street racing on our forum because it's illegal, and we have even had forum members die as a result of street racing.

Yeah I know it's not the best way to test your car , but THERE IS NO DRAG TRACK !!! We're racing late at night when there are almost no cars and the road is perfect ( 3 lanes and it's brand new ). And yes I searched on the site and there was no times for stock cars. All I'm asking is if somebody with stock tibby or almost stock ( intake , exhaust ) tested his car so he can give his results.

0-60 - 9.09sec
1/4 mile - 16.51sec/137.6km.

Dude, majik just gave you the link to the thread... there's a stock tib on there with some weight reduction which ran 16.4, and a tib with intake/exhaust which ran 15.7.

 

Wether there is a track in your town or not, it's still ilegal and we do not condone it in any way. Just dont bring it up here. It is clearly against this forums rules.
