Shift At What Rpm?
I personally found my perfect point and perfect technique for the launch.
I rev it up to about 2100rpms and keep my gas there, then start releasing clutch almost to the point where you will start moving a tiny bit, and then press the clutch a bit again so I will stop moving. Then once the green light comes on I start slipping the clutch in and not yet flooring the car; get it up to 4000 rpms and if I feel I got traction I release the clutch completely and floor it.
It might be easy in words, but it might be hard to learn how to do all of this properly. With practice you will be able to do it smile.gif
Good luck!

Yeah I feather the clutch as well. Get it up to about 2500RPM, light turns green... slip it a little up to about 3,000 then punch it. Feathering helps because your not just slamming the gas from a dead stop. Being actually moving forward @ 8mph or so helps with FWD. On my GSX I just rev it up to 4500RPM and drop it... instant 1.7 second 60 foot on street tires. lol.gif
Mine usually make a little squeal... very abbreviated though. The time they squeal should take no longer than the time it takes to read the word "squeal." Best analogy I can think of right now. lol.gif
You don't want to bog it off the line, but you don't want to overdo it. Launching is a fine art... laugh.gif

You still have the stock rims? use those for racing...
I usually get a lil chirp, so i know im just under the traction barrier..

Perhaps switch back to stock wheels when you go to the track
EDIT: didnt see alex01tib's post

Yeah I squall a little bit but only if my tires are inflated to the correct pressure. Usually I lower the air pressure to about 10-20 lbs. and run like that. Not very good for the ol' tread life but great for getting the RPM's up there a bit more for launch to 60'. All tracks have an air compressor to fill your tires back up before you leave just look for it. I don't pay that much attention to where the RPMS are I'm usually just listening and watching the X-Mas tree, but I'd say probably like 3200 or so. What are your alls average reaction times? Mines about .440 and I'm pretty happy with that. I've still been waiting for that accidental .100, .200 R/T run though. Some day.
10psi is way too low man. 22-24psi is perfect. Just work on your techniques and they will be perfect one day.
I've had perfect reaction time before, .500 with .500 being perfect. Felt damn good!!!
When are you taking your best back to the track with fixed AirRam manifold?
