pikes peak is crazy. i think they cancel the whole thing if the weather doesn't keep up.
if you think that's crazy, you should see the WRC event of Monte Carlo, Greece, Corsica, and San Remo. All take place on high cliffs where the cars are going 90 miles per hour one foot away from a 300+ ft drop. Some have been killed in the 1980's-1990's racing on those stages and the dumb FIA wants to take them away.
