Rd2 Vs. V6 2003 A/m
#1
Ok, I'm bored because I have my vacation and my car is in the shop for new front brakes and this shit is taking too long mad.gif
But anyways, I've test drove a 2003 V6 auto4 and frankly, it felt fast because of the torque the V6 has, but would it own my ass in a drag ?
I have a Rd2 with a Cai, strutbars and eibach lowering springs, also I had my car tuned at a dyno from 123 whp to 137,9 whp.
Info I got so far (hope it's right)
The rd2 would do stock 0 - 60 mph in 8,6s
the V6 auto4 would do 0 - 60 mph in 8,5s
V6 H6 would do 0 - 60 mph in 8,2s
What would you think, I think the V6 auto I could beat because of the auto tranny and the more weight. But the manual is gonna be tough, I think I'd lose

You should be able to beat him if you have manual and that car has auto.
If you know how to drive your car properly, you should be somewhere in mi 15 second range, he in low 16s-high 15s.
Moving to drag racing.

You have 15 whp+ from dyno tune with only CAI? What did you dyno tune your car with? SAFC2? SMT? etc?

He rewrited my stock ecu, it was running rich in higher rpm.
so he changed the A/F I guess

ohhh. Then I say you will be able to beat auto very easily, if you know how to drive your car, and you could hang with stock manual if you know your car. Get headers and exhaust you will be 6speed very easily!
