Re: FS: 1997 Tiburon in Central NY
It's not about argument redz, its just something that I wanna prove myself and maybe you smile.gif
I told you the reason why I didnt break into 15s, bad traction in 1st, and if I had more runs that night I might have been able to do it, not sure, but I think I can smile.gif come on .06 seconds, and you are saying its not possible? I really think it is smile.gif we shall see when I go there next week. Hopefully it wont be as full as it was this time smile.gif

Re: Custom Diamond Plate Mats
If you want to get faster without a penny, take of some weigth off. 100lbs less can make a big difference (100lbs "liberates" 10hp or 0.1sec, rule pf thumb). Spare, jack, rear seats, rear moldings, carpets, speakers, passenger seat, glove box, center console....using spare tires as rear tires, smaller front wheels, 25psi in the tires, take the power steering strap off....
If you would do all this, you would break the 0.06 that you are missing.
If you would do all this, you would break the 0.06 that you are missing.

Re: lol, hyundai mouse
I know most of the things that you mentioned, but I already took the back seat, spare, and jack out. I did have 25psi on my front wheels. For the next time I might take some carpet out and maybe a pass seat, we shall see smile.gif

Re: Santa Claus: A Scientific Perspective
No offense is directed to anyone here, but I find it very hard to believe a bone stock tiburon, with a custom CAI is layin' down a 16.06. If it is I'll shut-up but I've got bigger rims/terrible driver and I'm runnin' 17s

Re: Results from tonight's race :)
I'll raise the BS flag on the 10,000 different time slips! smile.gif lol. I do beleive it is possible to pull low 16's w/ just a cai. It all depends on how you drive, and how much track time you have... Tires make a big difference and so does reaction time.

Re: Results from tonight's race :)
reaction time has nothing to do with your ET times because you might stand at the light for 10 seconds and time will not start counting until you leave the stage. and if you seriously do not believe me i can upload some slips just to shut some of you down....
