Bahaha.. Tuscanis are slow, muh man. Slower than the Sante Fe even. Couple people at school have 'em, and they're hoagies. Don't even BOTHER with the auto. I read a magazine article on them today actually, and they run 18's in the 1/4. You can hang with manuals I'm sure. Don't know about 6-speeds. Headers should be all you need.

2kshark, 18s? Please man do some search.

Stock auto run low 16s, might even get into 15s. 6 speed can do anywhere from high 15s, to mid 15s.

LMAO

Sorry about that, OP. I thought this thread was regarding the Hyundai TUCSON, not the TUSCANI. (I mean, c'mon, you thought this was Grand Am thread) All apologies, I hope this clears up the confusion.

owned.gifdamnit.gif lmao.gifhaha.gif

With all that aside, aren't there 3 different transmissions for the Tuscani? 4AT, 5MT, and 6MT. I was looking into the auto Tuscani, but I couldn't afford one.

Now that I reread the topic, it makes sense. wink1.gif Tuscani = 2003 V6. duh.gif Viper, if you have a manual with CAI, I think you could easily take on an auto Tuscani.

Ok so I was saying

I live in Europe and in my country we only sell the following:

2.0 I4 Tuscani with 4Auto (tiptronic) and 5Manual
2.7 V6 Tuscani with 4Auto (tiptronic) and 6Manual

The 2.0 is not even a option, it's got almost none more hp then the Tiburon and weight more. I think maybe only the 5Manual tranny is different.

The V6 4Auto I think would be slower, I don't know about the V6 6Manual though, got much torque

Why the hell would I race a Tucson haha.gif

It's a SUV man
