thats a 1/8 mile track.. a nearly stock tiburon would NEVER even get close to wanting to shift into 4th gear..

and you think thats terrible.. on a tiburon, jay-m, for example was at only 82 mph at the 1/8 mile point, which would be third gear, and thats from a 13.7 sec tib, not a ~16 sec like GBS, and GBS would never get through 3rd even in the 1/4 mile, most likely.. so that proves he wasnt at the track..

bullshit i have a good friend who has 05 spec-v and he handed me my ass. i was topped and he was still pullin like crazy then he hit 6th..... i dont try to mess with spec-v no more 02.gif

well, my point was... that if you read his post, and saw about the track near him, things wouldnt match up and you wouldnt say we were terrible for not believing him..

 

Well most of the boards I've been on that someone has said they've raced on a track you guys have said it's been on a street, so I decided to research it and I found the track he was talking about so I assumed he would be true to what he said and would've raced on the track. I guess not.

alright this is all getting old. yes street racing is stupid. but people still do it and always will. if we were to say ban any members that street raced, we would lose well over half. thats just how things are. this topic is so over-discussed and still nothing changes. im getting tired of half the topics in this section turning into street racing debates

You are right about 3rd gear...I knew it was 3rd or 4th when i started to pull ahead.

The mods I listed are my only bolt ons..

They bored my stock TB and P&P my IM,head, and valves

But I am done with being called out on everything, I am really close to just being done with this site all together, and pulling the plug on the BBTB and IM project.

Your half right. Theres no such thing as an auto spec-v, they all come with 6-speed manuals.

But there is also no such thing as a manual SER non spec-v, they all were auto.

Im sure somebody will disagree with me with out looking it up so here is my proof Sentra information

I outed a guy one time for lying, he said he had a spec-v that he swapped the stock 5-speed for a 6-speed; i told him he was a liar and just badged his 1.8 sentra as a spec-v since all spec-v's came with 6-speed. Of course he didnt have his car with him at the time to proove it.
