in drag racing, real drag racing, they ruin their clutch in about 20 passes. The reason is because you can deliver a ton more torque throughout the pass by keeping your engine in the power band, but not spinning your wheels. The way you do that is to burn the clutch.

^^^ Not a very good idea in a daily driver. I drove my T/A like that, but could afford the parts. I broke my clutch, driveshaft, rear-end, and tranny (in that order). Every time I broke something, I upgraded it.

You do realize that Yukon prob weighs just over 6000lbs and probably wasn't trying to race you. funny thing is that yukon could prob run just as fast as you with 2000lbs of shit in the back. Atleast you didn't sound like a complete tool making that statement. Here is a statement that has been around long before I was born, and prob you too "there is no replacement for displacement." to let you know, the yukon WAS racing me, it was a friend from school who was doing a tire rotation on his dads yukon and wanted to race to see how he would do compared to me and i did smoke him
also was saying that YES he does way about 6000lbs thats why i stated that it wouldnt be the same as a 4000lb V-8
i was not bragging about beating a v-8 and i do know that i could not beat a 4.6 and definitely not the 5.0L mustangs i was just saying, just because he has 2x the cylinders doesnt mean he is faster
