Did you notice he always drove to the side opposite the cone on it's side? Seems that might have been intentional.

moo, the tipped over cones are supposed to be tipped over. LOL. And there was a guy out there, you can see him for a second in the second video. There are different cone arrangements to signal a gate, directional cone, or cone you must pass to one side. The SCC of America docks 2 points for knocking a cone down and 10 points for missing a gate (I think... I haven't AutoX-ed in a loooooong time).
The cones he was slaloming through are the cones you must pass to one side (the side with the upright cone). If there were two of these arrangements facing each other you'd have to go through the middle (i.e. a gate!).
what tires are you on?

WOW! I didn't know this would get so much answers...
happy to share with you guys...
first, about the AutoX, yes there are 2 guys that run after someone hits a cone, they are on the sides; Patreezy also explained why there are some cones laying horizontally, the tip of the cone indicates that you to pass the cone by the oposite side of that lying cone; the gates are marked by two lying cones... it's just how they do it here...
about the car's suspension, it's on H&R springs, KYB GR2 shocks, Whiteline Sway Bars (stock mm front but solid and adjustable rear --on the mid setting on that day--), rear strut bar (can't do front because of AirRam), 15" Enkei wheels (11lbs each), Kuhmo Ecsta MX tires at 40lbs for the AutoX runs.
Not suspension but also helps, EBC Greenstuff pads (on Rotora slotted discs OEM size).
Engine: 2.5" Exhaust; long glasspack, Summit Racing stainless muffler (really nice, I recomend it), Maintec Header, 1.8 intake cam, AirRam, 61mm System TB, and courtessy to my car being MAP instead of MAF (hence no intake restriction) a 3" mandrel bend CAI with a K&N on the end.

VERY NICE!!!
Car looks and sounds good racing through the cones.
Your intake sounds just like mine, lol. AEM here. Gotta love that distinct beta sound between 3 and 4 grand, nice loud growl.
I have been wanting to auto x for a long time now, just havent gotten out there yet.
Didn't look like you were wearing a helmet. I think you need one here??
Cool vids, maybe try and get a tripod for the cam to steady the picture.
I definately prefer out of the car videos, can't see the tib tearing up the corners from inside.
Good job, how did you place? How many cars were there?
