Well, being that launches are made at WOT, it might be possible that all overrides ocurr during a hard launch, but anyways it won't hurt to reset ECU the day before or the morning you are launching.

I usually drive very nicely, floor my car once every two weeks.
So my computer doesn't know hard driving, but I think it overrides everything that it had once I get to the track. I mean I do very well at the track, so it doesn't seem to hurt.
