*edit by Dweet* you mean you were at the track wink1.gif

I was racing my friends MX-6, i have never raced before, first time it was a mix up on the go signal and i got smoked, but second time we layed it out better, and in about 400M i was less than 1 m behind, he is running a 2.5L stock, i am stock also with a AEM intake, but i got 17" rims and they aint light, so does the weight of the car make that much of a differance?

Default FS : Stock Taillamps and 2 din Headunit (cd and tape)

weight does play alot, more so on a roll but still weight is one HUGE advantage our cars have over others. Thats why an accent with a stock beta swapped in it will run low low 15's while a stock Tib will run mid 16's

Yep, weight is very important...heavy 17's can really slow you down. You probably would've done better with the stock wheels.
