there are down the street from the shop i goto... we are going to have a bbq this sat. also they are the ones that maped my ecu for me. they got the crower rods from us the owner is cool one you get to know him.shit when he fires that thing up you can hear it from 5 blocks away, that sob is fast as hell, both the owener of axis and zest " my shop" are friends i guess you could say its almost family.

1) What is the fastest time in a 1/4 mile for any tiburon in USA.
In the US its 10.3 on street tires (Dual engine tiburon)
2) What is the World record for any tiburon in the 1/4 mile.
Probably in Korea,... they actually drag those cars over there, so i would LIKE to imagine they broke the single digit barrier.
3) What is the most hp that anyone has make out of a 4 cyl.
We have always heard rumors of Beta engines (our I4 engine) hitting the 700+ mark, but the highest dyno i have seen was a beta passed the 500whp mark.
4) What is the most power ever out of any tiburon engine, 6 cyl or 4 cyl
4 cyl... 500-800... Speed Camp claimed our crank breaks at around 800whp.
6 cyl... right now the highest beta is scratching the 400 mark. The last dyno i saw had a delta in the 380whp mark with scary tuning,... so 400 is possible.
5) Who is the Michael Jordan of engine building in the tiburon world.
Red and Random.
Red created one of the first bullet proof engines, and Random brought up the 1.8 crank theory (redline all the way to 8000rpm).
6) Has anyone ever made over 800 hp out of a tiburon engine.
Rumors say yes... Speed Camp said yes, although not for very long.

This is better than any P**n that I have ever seen hail.gif tongue.gif Thank you to all of you that have answer my questions, some real gear heads in da house thats for sure;
The reason behiand all the questions is that our Company Turbo Wax, will be building a tiburon very soon, we are the staging lane sponsor for the NDRA (Nopi) drag racing series and we are very tight with the fellas at NHRA Sport Compact, therefor we hope to be up and running by next year racing series.
I am trying to do as much homework as I can so when the time comes we dont waste any more time, our engine program is ready to go and with the aid of a good friend we will modify his combination and try to make it even better, that car is an accel and runs 9.28, 4 cyl, auto, with his help and the help of the Hyundai community we hope that we can make some noise fing02.gif

random comes around here once and a while
red doesnt really post much anymore in fact where is that foo been years since i heard from him
they dont have websites there just guys that have been around since forever and helped further our section
jongtr here is hoping to break into the 10s here shortly hopefully he will do it

excel? if so, its probably has the 4g63 in it. stock, they had a mitsubishi based motor, the 4g15. this made it a perfect candidate for the 4g63. minimal work needed to make it fit.
look up random in the member list, and give him a pm. he checks through here a couple times a week, but i dont know if he would check this thread.
there are also a couple crazy hyundai swaps down in puerto rico. couple accents with beta motors swapped in them running tens or better.
