Around 133mph, long stretch of highway, was still around 6k rpm or so but didn't seem to want to go any faster.

 

Here in the UK I've seen 125mph in the Coupe but the fastest was 183mph on my Yamaha R1, I just aimed at the grey bit cuz at that speed on the bike everything got blurry. The Coupe handled fine and seemed happy to carry on but I was beginning to get a bit on the close side to a traffic island.

 

Never buried it in the tib stopped somewhere around 100 if I remember right.

But one time I did get a 92 dodge caravan to 110 that was a little scary LOL.

 

I didn't just "bury the needle." I ran out of revs, and out of gears. At the same time. On Philip Island's MotoGP circuit. Front straight. With an upgraded final drive for better top end speed. In my old Evo(now sold)

Turn 1 entry, was quite interesting to say the least.

 

i did burry the needel in my taurus.... daily.... lol it only goes up to 85...

 

why am I the only one with a limiter....

 

ive burried the needle in the accent about 5k rpm so i still had about another 5mph to go and it handled ok. no shaking or anything so i pulled it up to 6k in 5th and then coasted back down to about 80

haha never brought it up to the limiter on the tib but the taurus i have.... many times.... but i dont know when it shuts off at because like i said... it only goes up to 85 haha angel.gif
