Estimate 1/4mile Question
Alright Im hoping you all can help but not sure on the answers Ill get on this lol. Ive been wondering about which route to pursue performance wise. As you probably remember I have the auto tranny. I have 4-2-1 headers, cai, 2.5 exhuast with 4inch muffler, and Evo F.G hood. Im picking up Centerline Storms soon. Now the tricky part, lets say I add 70mm TB and Airram(or custom one just as good), under drive pulley, and 1.8 cam. Is it in the realm of possibilty(with a brake stand and O/D off then O/D on into 3rd) that I can hit low 15 seconds in the quarter? Id like to think so but idk. So some honest help here would really help me out and be greatly appreciated too. Thanks!
Im really just curious as to what the Tib is capable of with only N/A bolt ons.

I'll go with Alex on this one.
70mm might be a bit big for a N/A TB. 65mm TB/Air-Ram I did lose some low-end responsiveness. In an auto when you can only brakestand to like ~2k, it'll be tough to get the car moving into the 4k+ range, especially with first being longer in autos.

Im GEUSSING that Id hit low 16s now. my tranny is good(only 2000miles) 4-2-1, exhaust, intake, lighter weight parts. Im atleast hoping for lower 16's. And with all I mentioned you still dont think a time of 15.5 approx or lower is possible? Am I fighting a losing battle? lol
Manual = hot
Auto = lame
Auto's longer gears and more drivetrain loss kill it. I'd say you'd get mid 15s with those mods, but why pay out the butt to be as fast as a manual with I/E? I ran 15.5 I/E.
