It would be close. RIPP Supercharged cars, with all the upgrade stage thingies, are putting down like 325whp. A 400 pound lighter turbocharged RD at 300whp would give it a solid run. V6s torquiness might win it out though. Some of the RIPPs cars are puttin down 350 tq.

Well we're talking about different cars then, The Ripps Mods one that I was talking about was featured in Super Street a couple of issues back. When I get home I'll se what I can drum up. I think it was out at like 250whp or something small like that. It was running 10psi methinks and showed poor gains all around. BUT that was with the alpine s/c kit (which we know is not great) so they prolly improved that part of it.

Well...if you've done some proper weight reduction (meaning no goddamn sound system in your car, stripped interior, lightweight engine parts, and C/F the ENTIRE car)...then torque should not be much of a problem. Either that, or upgrade to a better engine.
