Hey everyone,
Did you ear of our event being shut down by the local police, after a complain by the chief of police last weekend.
Some of our members where told that they would get charge if they continued, and that it wasn't just a By-law but MVA laws infraction. That mean finds, points and event hand-cuf & jailed if we wouldn't have stoped.

We already have 9 pages of discussion and support from all around canada and it's starting to spreed in the USA too. Some of our clubs affiliate are also getting involved. Dozen of letters and E-Mails have already been sent to the Truro chief of police & the Maire's offices to express our consern and support to the situation.
We expect that this incident was instigated by only 1 or 2 officers and that they were misinform about Solo II racing and confused it with kids playing on the streets.
We welcome you to check it out since this could be a precedent for Solo Racing across the country.

Still having problem with the Sherif in Truro NS. The way we all see it, the sherif is on a power trip and doesn't want to hear anything.
The Sherif, maire, the city of truro have received 100's of letters from members executif and everywhere else in the country for support to our cause. If it continue this way this situation will probably end up in court in front of a judge. The good thing is that we have to support of police around the country and lots of our members are police officer themself, lawyers or event judges.
So we have lots of support on our side, and we need it since this could be a precedent for this 30 years old sport everywhere.
