Yea...it might as well have stayed at the line because I beat the guy by almost 1/2 the length of the track.

02 Celica gt (well out of 15 races I won 10... some of the times he beat me it was by .3 seconds)
Honda civic (don't know the year)
Honda civic del sol by well over a second
Mitsubishi eclipse
GK
Honda accord v-tech don't remember the year.

All of these were at the drag strip. I get tickets for stupid #$%^ all the time... I don't need to add street racing to that list

^^^ That's right. Beat an 01 Tib 5 out of 15 times. Those are the only track wins I have.

Took the new Tib for benchmark testing with only the AEM on it. Ran 15.8, not as good as probably the 15.6 or so with the old Tib, but I attribute it to the bad tires and maybe slight engine wear and tear (63k miles on this Tib, 17k on the old).

I raped my friend who just learned how to drive stick. Owned his VR6 Jetta by a carlength, when it should rape me by god knows how much. lmao.gif

It probably came down to his shitty driving skills. If he knew how to drive that thing, and drive that thing well, I think you would have trouble beating a manual VR6. Those things have power.

I ran a 17.4 @ 79mph

A lot of manual Tibs here run a flat 16-16.5 stock, and some with just intake drop .5 seconds off their 1/4 mi. OP had Ebay i/h/e on his old Tib and ran a 15.1. Autos are slower and run a low-mid 17 stock.

Ye, Intake/Exhaust got me down to 15.5 with a manual on the old Tib, but I do live around sea level and go to a pretty decent track.
