So what cars/trucks have you beaten in your Tibs, both 5-speed and 4-speed auto?

Cars I have beaten in my stock and auto Tibby in the past 3 months:

'98 Dodge Ram 1500 w/ Flowmaster exhaust
'93 Toyota MR2
'01 Mazda Protege 1.6L
'96 Dodge Neon
'04 Honda Civic LX
'97 Nissan Maxima 4 cyl
Chrysler 300M (year n/a)

Not a list of sports cars or anything, I know.tongue.gif But these are all valid races that I have won.

Dude, i can continue naming cars for some time. Question is how many cars beat me, I lose all the time against corvettes, Cobras, SRT's, once a viper, Camero's, Trans am's, Lotsa cars. I pick fights with cars i know i have no chance with. But its all fun.

 

On the track right? lol.gif I have had a few runs with some cars around here... ignoring the few cars I've beaten by a full second at the track, here are some close runs.

- 1993(?) Toyota Supra N/A
My 15.6 sec quarter to his 15.8... car had problems, but hell, wins a win smile.gif

- 1996(?) Mitsubishi Eclipse N/A
My 15.7 sec quarter to his 15.9... I/H/E I believe.

I haven't been to the track with the Tib much, so nothing too notable. Tracks around here usually don't have Imports as much, so I usually get paired up against muscle cars. Which doesn't go too well... especially off the line. lol.gif

 

People this is getting out of the hand a little. We are not talking about street racing here. DRAG RACING ONLY! This will be locked if you keep posting stupid stuff!

Kit, you are stupid for street racing, and street racing with your stock auto tin against cars that you have no chance to beat!

 

The only car I ever officialy raced was my friends auto Talon vs. my auto Tib. I beat him by a nose.

Currently I havent raced anyone because Im not completely comfortable racing the stick yet, but I have outrun plenty of cars on the highway, including a G35 Coupe and a Mercedes Benz Kompressor. I guess Im just the crazier driver in traffic.

But yeah actuall races, none yet. Gotta get the engine mods done first.

 

ya know those 300m s are pretty quick for their size

 

the only one i was real proud of was a 97 integra with full exhaust, cai, and puleys. he left the track shortley after he lost to a hyundai. well this wasnt in my tib, but it was in a hyundai does that count?
