Street tires, drag radials, or slicks?
I still see the stock rims on there with what looks to be street tires, but I dunno if he swapped something else on before the run.

probably running slicks on the track.. the stockers are for around the shop. Race tyres are too easily damaged even rolling them around on uneven surfaces.. plus they go "flat" on one side if you leave the car sitting too long in one spot.

Toms not a big forum poster. He's usually got too much going on to get online much, and when he does he gets pounded with questions and how to's etc. I sat down recently and jotted some stuff down with him, but unless you'll be at the Hyper Auto Club meet on the 10th, it'll probably be a bit hard to get Tom to answer questions about the car. I WILL see this car run sometime at Firebird in Chandler! muhahaha.
now, if only there was a company that owned an RD1 that was as dedicated as Tom is with the GK, and leaned a little more toward the 'going fast and using the steering wheel' racing wink1.gif
No offense, I just REALLY effin wanna see an RD blow away the competition at a Time Trial ShootOut or somethin, for once.
This is huge for the GK's image. But I bet there were still people at the track muttering *it's a Hyundai...*

Wow, this is amazing Chris. Awesome for APE and Flyryde. The hatch looks awesome and I was happy to hear about the VIS sponsorship the other day. You guys are obviously doing well. Great looking car.

Id like to see an RD also, i am not quite a fan of the GK, the only Plus in my mind was that it had a V6.. which APE didnt opt with lol , anyone know why?... but still very nice to see hyundai getting in the 10s... woulda thought somebody other then mr. duel motor woulda done it also, like viper or mad john but hey, cant complain. Any CF hatches for the RD ?!? =P
